Ross, who attends our Stranraer project, has just started his own Travel blog.
Inspired by his daily trips Ross’ Bridge to Employment support worker suggested Ross start his own blog to share the fun days out he was having as part of his efforts to stay active and remain positive during lockdown. Ross has started his blog in the hopes of highlighting the wonderful area Dumfries and Galloway is and therefore encourage people to have ‘stay-cations’ this summer.
His first post included a story and pictures from his trip up to Clatteringsshaw Loch. He wrote:
Wee Run to Clatteringshaw Loch
So today I woke up and said I fancy a wee run down to Clatteringshaw loch so got up and made a flask of Yorkshire tea and a wee biscuit to take with me. Also took my dog Cooper the border collie with me so we leave Stranraer down the A75 to Newton Stewart and down A712 New Galloway Road. Was lovely to get out and about, get some air. Lockdown starting to get to me a wee bit was nice to get out of Stranraer for a wee while. And forget about things.
