We have two new job opportunities at our Castle Douglas location.

The Board of Trustees of Better Lives Partnership is looking for two people to join our team at B2E @ Stewartry. Better Lives is recruiting an Employability Support Worker – Business and Employer Engagement and Employability Support Worker – Professional Creative.

Both jobs require the individual to support people from vulnerable circumstance who, due to their disabilities, are likely to require specialist support in their progress towards quality employment recognising that this may involve accessing other opportunities such as learning, teaching and volunteering.

The Employability Support Worker – Business and Employer Engagement

The Employability Support Worker – Business and Employer Engagement role is an exciting opportunity for a person with some experience of business and employability work and who is keen to work with the Third Sector, education, employability or working with young people to be at the fore front of exciting developments in Dumfries and Galloway. The job will require supporting the Team Officer in delivering an operational service for The Bridge to Business, a project which provides support to young people to use their skill and expertise to start up and run their own business, and the Young Person Guarantee (YPG) Projects across Dumfries and Galloway.

The Employability Support Worker – Professional Creative

The Employability Support Worker – Professional Creative is a great opportunity for a person with creative skills and experience of delivering educational and/or creative programmes and who is keen to work with a Third Sector organisation to be at the fore front of exciting developments in Dumfries and Galloway. The job role includes supporting the Team Officer in delivering an operational service for The Bridge to Creative Projects, which provides creative activities and opportunities to young people for development, led by professional artists.
