Bridge to Business
The Bridge to Business programme is aimed at young people aged 16 to 25 with autism and additional needs in Dumfries and Galloway who want support in setting up their own micro business.
The aim of the project is to use a person-centred approach to ensure that each young person receives the support they need to be able to fully explore their business idea. We do this by looking at the different aspects of setting up and running a business including: Developing your Idea, Legal Requirements, Social Media and Marketing, Accounts and Communication.

In the course of the individual’s project, we incorporate business skills, work experience and enterprise. Young people on the Bridge to Business project work on their individual projects as well as in a group setting with both others on the Bridge to Business project and those on the Bridge to Employment project.
